The Virginia Tech Alumni Association – Charlotte Chapter is associated with the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (where the primary fund raising purpose is for general [non-athletic] scholarships). To be a member of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, you must have attended Virginia Tech. No membership dues are collected.
The Hokie Club is associated with the Virginia Tech Athletic Fund (where the primary fund raising purpose is for athletics and athletic scholarships). Anyone can be a member of the Hokie Club, however there are membership dues.
This being said, Virginia Tech Alumni Association – Charlotte Chapter gladly shares some information on our site regarding the local Hokie Club (below); however, we are in no way connected with their fund raising activities.
